For Schools

The mandate is clear. The implementation isn't. We close that gap — PAN India.

NEP 2020 and CBSE's Kaushal Bodh mandate demand competency-based, experiential learning — and every school leader knows the policy is ahead of the practice. TheWorkshop partners with schools across India to close that gap, choosing the model that fits how your campus actually runs.

Our in-school offerings

Six ways to work with us — one model per campus, not one-size-fits-all.

In-School STEM Club

Vivek High School, Chandigarh

Year-long, timetable-integrated STEM club, delivered inside the school day.

In-School Robotics Club

Learning Paths School, Mohali

Same timetable-integrated model, focused on robotics and engineering design.

EduLab

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh & New Chandigarh · Pilots at Vidya Valley School, Pune; Canary School, Hyderabad; Ramniwas Bajaj English High School

Curriculum-aligned, experiential STEM learning delivered directly by TheWorkshop's own educators.

EduLab + Teacher Training

Shemrock School, Mohali & SD Vidya School, Ambala Cantt

Same curriculum-aligned delivery, plus hands-on capacity building so your own teachers can eventually run it.

STEM Workshops

SatyaPrakash Public School, Jabalpur · First Steps IB World School & Amity International School, Mohali

Standalone, one-day hands-on STEM sessions — not a year-long club commitment.

Competitions

End-to-end mentorship

WRO, TechnoXian, First Lego League and more — the Engineering Design Process taken all the way to the competition stage.

Teacher training, in the room

Choosing between EduLab models

Not every school wants the same thing from a curriculum partner.

EduLab

Some schools want us to simply deliver. EduLab is run directly by our own educators — your timetable gets the lessons, your teachers can observe and absorb as they go.

e.g. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh & New Chandigarh

EduLab + Teacher Training

Others want the STEM capability built into their own staff. This model builds the lessons and the in-house capability at once, structured sessions rather than one-day awareness talks.

e.g. Shemrock School, Mohali & SD Vidya School, Ambala Cantt
What schools receive

Comprehensive, curriculum-mapped STEM lesson plans for Classes 1–8.

Aligned to CBSE Kaushal Bodh (Grades 6–8), NEP 2020 & NCF (Classes 1–8), ICSE, and IGCSE — plus hands-on teacher capacity building. Every plan includes teacher guides, worksheets, project templates, home extensions, a UNSDG goal alignment, student self-evaluation, and a materials procurement list. No lab required.

  • Teacher guides, worksheets and project templates
  • Home extensions and a UNSDG goal alignment
  • Student self-evaluation built into every plan
  • Full materials procurement list — no lab required

What is Kaushal Bodh?

CBSE's vocational education programme for Grades 6–8, replacing textbook-only instruction with real projects across three domains: life forms, machines & materials, and human services. Composite Skill Labs are the physical spaces schools are being asked to set up to deliver it — EduLab's Grade 6–8 lesson plans are built directly against these three domains.
